| Shady is one of my two
cats. This cat has a mind of her own. She
is sooo bossy that we have a plaque by
our door that says: enter with
caution....attack cat on premises. She
is not afraid of anything. We have our
neighbor's horses that come beyond a
fence by our back yard. There are 5 of
them. One is much smaller and is really a
cute white pony. Shady goes right up to
the pony and looks right up at her.
She does not require much attention
from me during the day. But when it is
time to go to sleep at night, she jumps
on my bed and gets under my covers and
purrs herself to sleep. That is her time
for me.
She makes me laugh when she runs
throughout the house trying to pick on my
other cat, Lucky, who is much older and
does not want to have much to do with
Shady. So I let her outside, and she
finds mischief out there. Many chipmunks,
squirrels, mice, and birds. I hope and
pray that she never sees a skunk!
I made up this story, A Day with Shady and
Lucky, for my young grandkids.
