| This is Chipper, and I
call this photo serenity,
because he looks so peaceful while cat
napping. Most of the time you will find
him sleeping on his back, seems he gets
the best sleep in that position. Chipper
was a wild kitten that my wife noticed
outside her office window, while he was
playing with his mother. We spent 2 hours
trying to catch him one evening but he
and his mother went into a drain spout,
and we just couldn't get him out. This
was on a Friday and the following Monday
when my wife got to work, the gardeners
were blowing leaves with a blower, and he
was caught off guard and couldn't make it
to the drain spout. Instead he climbed
onto the block wall by the office door
and sat afraid to move, which gave my
wife the opportunity to grab him. So
Chipper was rescued from a life of fear
and hunger at 7 1/2 weeks old. Chipper
is named after my favorite cat, who was
also named Chipper; he was pure white
with a black hat and black tail. So
seeing our new feline friend, and his
colors I just had to have another Chipper.
He is a great cat and has his very own
personality. He has richly filled the
void after loosing my first Chipper. He
comes over to me and pushes my arm when
I'm on the computer working, so he can
get some attention. He likes to be held,
and you have to do it when he wants it,
not so much when you want to. He loves to
sleep on his back, and boy does he like
to eat. Wants to eat all the time. He
even has his own filtered water dish and
auto food dispenser so he can't get more
than he needs. Of course when ever he
comes and cuddles with his dad, we have
to get him a litte extra! Chipper is our
office mascot, and spends a good portion
of his day with us in the office greeting
our customers. We are buddies, and we do
lots together, you can check out his
website for more details.
