Our Chancey came into
our lives at the age of 8 weeks. We were
looking for a couple of kittens to
replace 2 of our cats we had lost in the
previous year. When going to the home of
a co-worker we were introduced to 5
little kittens, of which 4 were pure gray
and 1 female that looked like a ball of
fluff. We normally get little boys, but
this little fur ball was adorable. Her
mom looked like a true Himalayan, but
daddy was a local mixed tomcat. After
just a few minutes with her, we were sold
on this little doll. She has blue eyes
and looks like a Himalayan. She has
turned out to be a sweetie, and along
with that has her moments. She loves to
be brushed and lets you know every
morning it's time. She has to have a
small plate of milk each morning also, or
she will meow for ever! As you can see in
her photo, she is a star gazer. Get out a
flash light and shine it on the ceiling
and off she goes exploring the universe.
She chases shadows and reflections and is
really fun to watch. She also loves to
play fetch, just throw a little mouse and
off she goes, then back to you she comes
for another toss. If you could hear her
meow, you would know she is a girl, it a
soft gentle meow, not like her step
brother. She's our little girl!
